Macías, founder and administrator
of Canaest S.L in 1993, is an economist with
15 years experience in fishing aquaculture.
He has participated in numerous projects related
to the social and economic aspects in this
scope, in European countries as well as Western
Africa and Latin America. |
Traoré
Noumuké is an economist from Burkina
Faso with more than 30 years of experience
in management of development projects,
mainly for the African Bank of Development.
He has working experience in more than 15
african countries as team leader and senior
expert and has participated as a consultant
in projects for FAO, FIDA, CIDA, UNESCO,
etc.

Montero Castaño, marine biologist,
expert in fisheries development and environmental
management. Responsible for international
projects as the following up of Spanish fisheries
in Western Atlantic and other fishing, aquaculture
and scientific cooperation programs, in African
countries and Latin America , Senegal, Guinea,
Bissau and Peru. With experiences in the elaboration
and evaluation of projects and development
programs |
Beatriz
Gómez, jurist specialized in
marine environment and fisheries legislation.
With specific knowledge in Marine Protected
Areas and international politics of biodiversity,
she has also participated in several projects
promoting the fishing private sector, commercialisation and consumption of fisheries products and infrastructures management studies in Western Africa. |
Jorge Torrens, graduated in marine sciences and specialized in fisheries economics and management, he has acquired a deep understanding of the sector thanks to his experience as scientific observer in waters of the United States, Falkland Islands and in the Indian Ocean. He has also experience in negotiation of the Fisheries Partnership Agreements between UE and Mauritania and in the following and control of the spanish fleet in Mauritania, Senegal, Guinea Bissau and Guinea Conakry. |
Patricia Navajas, biologist specialised in Environmental Management Systems and HACCP, she has a long experience working in international cooperation and sustainable development project management and coordination in West-African and Latin-American countries. She has also participated in environmental and fisheries projects and particularly in environmental education and fisheries-tourism. |
